Deadlift 5-5-5

Yesterday's WOD should be a good reminder for those of you that need some more personal attention on some of your Olympic Lifting (Clean and Jerk for example); remember that all current members are welcome to join an exsisting fundamentals class, where you will get more instruction on each move, as opposed to the short pre-workout instruction you get during the group WOD.  Also, if any of you feel that you need personal one-on-one training, let a trainer know and we can schedule you for that as well.

Also remember that we will all be meeting at YardHouse on Friday for food and drinks, to allow people to meet those that are new to our box.  Ask Nancy for details.

Hey I'm thinking of changing the schedule around a bit. (yes, I know, again...) But it would be a simple switch. I wanted to provide you guys with a little more flexibility, so I was thinking of switching the tues/thurs schedule, with the mon/wed/fri schedule. So the times would be the same but the days would switch. What do you guys think?

Also, the Warrior Dash time of 130pm is full, but I know there a few people still wanting to go and want to do the 430pm time, so if you still want to join a lot of your gym members for some fun in the mud, join the 430pm time slot and let us know on the blog. The 130pm people will definitly be there throughout the day, and we'll just meet you with a beer at the finish linesmilies/grin.gif

Ok so my run time sucked hard tonight so I thought I should punish myself in some way for the lousy performance. Did 100 sledge hammer hits for time with Nancy, deadlifts 315lbs 3rnds/5 and joined everyone else in air squats for 3 min. Now I'm soar as hell! Damn just need to run faster....smilies/grin.gif
