About Us

CrossFit Rancho Cucamonga is owned and operated by Chris Murray and Dan Mielke. Chris and Dan are fireman in the local area and are truly passionate about providing fitness and nutritional training to the community.  Crossfit has been life changing for Dan and Chris and as a result they decided to create what you see today: A facility dedicated to its community, through quality coaching, intense workouts and a fun atmosphere. AND IT WORKS.  It works for their wives, who want to lose weight and get toned up, it works for their children who need fun exercise in their daily routine, it works for professional athletes who need to break their plateau and it works for police, fire and all other public safety professionals whose lives might depend on it. Chris and Dan are passionate about sharing the Crossfit experience with their family, friends and their community.

At CrossFit we train our clients to optimize their physical competence in each of these 10 recognized fitness domains:

CrossFit workouts use functional movements that are constantly varied, performed at high intensity, but can be scaled to any fitness level.  Results are dramatic and rapid.

CrossFit gyms are different.  Let’s talk about what you WILL NOT find at our facility:

Sale people - CrossFit sells itself (no haggling, now lets workout).

Expensive, useless machines.

Mirrors - we don't have time to watch ourselves workout.

Money Hungry Trainers - that only answer questions if you purchase personal training sessions with them.

Crowded facilities where you are either waiting on equipment or feel like someone is waiting on you.

What you WILL find at our facility:

Barbells, bumper plates, pull-up bars, climbing ropes, medicine balls, jump ropes, gymnastics rings, rowers, box jumps, and everything else you can think of that makes working out fun.

Knowledgeable trainers that cover your questions and have a vested interest in seeing you succeed.

Fellow CrossFitters putting in the same effort as you, encouraging each other to go faster, and celebrating in your successes.

Whiteboards - we teach, train and document all progress on our white boards.  You will begin to love our boards, because it will become your motivational tool to do better.

WOD or Work Out of the Day - you will find yourself jittery in anticipation of the WOD.  All workouts aren't known until you arrive which adds to the excitement level.
